Wedding inspired by Picasso’s art

 Picasso: inspiration alive in Barcelona

One magical spring day, we brought to life the dream of a wonderful couple. Their wishes were simple yet profound: beauty, taste, and intrigue. After a careful selection of venues, their hearts were captivated by the rooftop of a five-star hotel offering breathtaking views of Barcelona.

This venue was not just about the stunning cityscape. Within its walls, Pablo Picasso once created his art—this was his first workshop in Barcelona. History seemed to write the concept of the wedding itself: fate had brought Pavel and Olga to a place bearing the name and spirit of one of the greatest artists in history. Coincidentally, Picasso’s wife was also named Olga—a symbolic parallel that made planning this wedding all the more enchanting.

Thus, the idea of a Picasso-inspired wedding was born: bold, vibrant, and inspiring. We reimagined the aesthetic of the renowned artist, infusing the celebration with vivid colors, expressive elements, and elegance. Barcelona, the rooftop, and the spirit of the great master provided the perfect backdrop for a new love story.

Every detail of this day was imbued with artistry—from the décor to the gourmet dishes that resembled masterpieces on plates. Yet, the ultimate works of art were Pavel and Olga themselves, radiating happiness on their unforgettable day.

A Picasso-inspired wedding is more than just a celebration; it is a daring combination of art, romance, and sophistication. Once again, Barcelona inspired and gifted us with an unforgettable love story.

A journey through love in Barcelona

Their remarkable day began with a romantic walk through Barcelona, the city that had become part of their love story. Together, they strolled through cozy streets, savoring every moment before heading to the venue where they exchanged their vows.

Family and friends joined them to continue the celebration aboard a sightseeing bus. This was not just a tour; it was a journey through their favorite places in Barcelona, creating a living map of memories and emotions.

They paused in hidden corners of the city, wandered through shaded streets, captured moments in photos, and simply soaked in the ambiance. Barcelona, with its beauty and vibrant energy, served as the ideal setting for their celebration. At one such stop, the couple embraced a romantic tradition—hanging a love lock adorned with the date of their wedding, a symbol of their unbreakable bond.

This day was not just a wedding but an adventure, with every step filled with joy, warmth, and the charm of Barcelona.

A celebration in art and atmosphere

While Pavel and Olga enjoyed their walk through Barcelona, the rooftop of the hotel was a hive of activity. The location was being transformed into a magical world—their private space of love and happiness. Boho-style décor with woven elements and elegant chandeliers was enhanced with delicate roses and shimmering disco balls—a perfect blend of elegance and festivity, just as Olga had dreamed.

Working closely with a talented decorator-florist, we achieved the perfect balance, turning the space into a unique and harmonious setting. The view of the city, the sea, and the crisp spring air became an integral part of the décor, complemented by floral arrangements and thoughtful details.

Pavel and Olga’s ceremony took place under the boundless Spanish sky, which seemed to bless them with its vastness. They exchanged vows in headphones, immersing themselves in a world of quiet intimacy, hearing only each other’s voices—a deeply personal, almost magical moment. Around them, soap bubbles sparkled in the sunlight, delighting guests, especially the youngest ones.

For each guest, we prepared personalized place cards inspired by Picasso’s famous painting, Dove. This artwork, created on the birthday of his daughter Paloma (meaning “dove” in Spanish), symbolizes peace and purity. The dove became a recurring motif in Picasso’s art, embodying his philosophy—one that we adopted for this wedding: harmony, peace, and beauty in every moment.

A night of art, Joy, and memories

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the festive atmosphere transitioned into an enchanting evening under the stars. Soft, romantic tones gave way to lively evening celebrations filled with music and dancing. We adore working with open spaces; they hold a unique magic, filling every event with freedom, lightness, and charm.

One of the highlights of the wedding was a live artist, who spent the evening creating masterpieces on fans in Picasso’s style. These one-of-a-kind gifts became cherished souvenirs for the guests, a tangible memory of Pablo and Olga’s magical wedding.

Even the menu echoed the artistic theme: cubist-style vegetables, Picasso-inspired palette sauces, and surrealist meat dishes. Every stroke, every detail, was thoughtfully curated. The grand finale was a luxurious wedding cake, not only exquisite in taste but breathtaking in design. Its décor mirrored the intricate details of the bride’s gown, symbolizing the seamless harmony of the day.

This wedding was the embodiment of art—the art of love, joy, and uniqueness, inspiring everyone who became part of this unforgettable celebration
